Animal research is the key to preventing pain and suffering. Vaccines inhibit children from becoming crippled and disfigured by infectious diseases while suffering in the shadows of death. Through lack of understanding, many people feel that animal research should be stopped because too many lives are wasted. It is known that animals die in the name of medical research, but their lives are not anymore a waste than the millions of animals that are butchered each year for human consumption.
